PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate)

PBT is replaced by PET, hence it's a high perfomance engineering polymer, in combination with easy processing, better cristalilaziton, high toughnesss and tensile stranght. PBT is compounded with glass fiber, consequently it become competitive with polyamide and metal structures.

PBT is widely used in automotive manufacturing, mirror and mirror parts, locker parts, door handles, wiper bodies, cable connection elements, various fasteners, oil tank closers, electric and electronic parts, relays, bulb holder, spot lamps, fuse boxes, motor boxes, electrical switch, telecom connection parts, coil bodies, plug & energie cables, home appliances, iron systems, keyboard parts, owen buttons, oven handles and air conditioning.
