SAN (Styrene Acrilonitrile)

SAN is a copolymer of styrene and acrilonitrile. Properties of chemical resistance at acrilonitrile and dimensional stability at styrene provides easy processing and good optical properties. So that, it's the one of hardest, chemical resistant, transparent polymer in the market. SAN is widely used through the market, once the polystyrene is insufficient to meet high chemical resistance and clarity. There is 20% to 30% of acrilonitrile in SAN  copolymer. Basically, it'a replacing product instead of general purpose Polystyrene, when chemical resistance, and heat resistance from medium to high required. It's very clear and glossy appearance.

ASA is a very fonctional polymer which combined with SAN ve acrilic  rubber. ASA is another engineering polymer which is produced by Acrilonitrile, Styrene Acrilic polymerization. These 3 polymers combination of ASA has excellent stiffness and toughness, chemical resistance, high gloss and weather resistance.  ASA, since it has good reistance to UV, humidity, it's widely used under the hars weather conditions; for instance, otomotive, houses and marine appliances.ASA is also processed by injection and extrusion processing methods.
