ABS ( Akrilonitrile Butadien Styrene)

ABS is an engineering plastic, produced by three monomer polymerization. Acrilonitrile, Butadien ve Styrene. These three monomer combination create uniq and versatile copolymer. Acrilonitrile gives toughness and chemical resistance, Butadien: flexiability and impact resistance whereas Styrene: glossy and also toughness.

We can get various grades with changing 3 main component composition, for instance high melt flow, higher heat resistance, higher impact resistance. ABS is suitable for  injection moulding, extrusion and blow molding machines.

ABS, is an engineering plastic that is easy processable producable, also low cost. ABS, when impact resistance, toughness and hardness need is an ideal polymer for special applications. It's widely used to process in sector due to the fact that it has perfect dimensional stability, easy processable,printable, paintable and adhesivable.

ABS is resistant to acid and alkali soltions, concantrated hydro chloric and phosporic acids, alcohols and also animal fats, mineral oils whereas it effects from concantrated sulphuric and nitric acids. ABS; can be dissolved in esters, ketones, ethylene diclorite and aceton.

Characteristics;

• Perfect impact strenght
• Easy processable
• Perfect aestetic quality
• Paintable and adhesivable
• Strenght and toughness
• Reasonable low cost.

Applications:

Widely used application; indoor panels, column, seat trims, grills, instrument panels, mirror cases in otomotives, toys, consumer goods, phones, vacum cleaner housing, control panels of household appliances, shower cabins, tractor roofs, furniture edges, suitcases.
