EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetat)

Ethylene Vinyl Acetat copolymer (EVA) copolymer, it's produced in combination of VAM and Polyethylene in LDPE tubular otoclav process. VAM percantage varies  between %2 and %40. 

 

EVA is an elastomeric material who has soft, flexible, transparent and glossy appearance. It's toughness and cracking resistance against high pressure is good under low temperatures. . 

 

 

As VAM content increase in EVA; 

• More Transparency 

• Higher density

• Better impact and tear resistance 

• Gets softer and more elasticiity  

• Lower melt point 

• More crosss linking capability.

• Better permeability

• Higher polarization

• Better ESCR 

 

 

Flexible pipes and profiles, food blow applications, solar cell encapsulation, cable, shoe sole, building and protective foams, hot-melt glues, agricultural films, otomotive parts, cases, color concantrates, shrink films.
